Find a Provider Agency
First Steps therapist that provide services to children and families must be connected with a state approved provider agency. There are several agencies in the Central Indiana region that currently serve in this role. For more information, click below.
Through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), funds are made available to states to implement a statewide system of services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. In Indiana, First Steps provides home-based services to infants and toddlers that are experiencing delays in development. First Steps is administered at a local level in regions. These regions are groups of counties known as "clusters." The Central Indiana region, or Cluster G, includes Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, and Tipton Counties.
The Fiscal Agent or the entity that holds the contract for administering First Steps services in Cluster G is a not-for-profit agency called ProKids, Inc.
